What the best are
actually built on.

Fifty women's-coaching, author, wellness and community sites worldwide — their real tech stacks, their persuasion cues, and the twenty moves that would let ANYWOMAN punch above its weight. The headline: ANYWOMAN doesn't need to outspend them. It needs to out-think them on the things none of them do together.

The tech-stack reality

There's a clear hierarchy — and ANYWOMAN is on the bottom rung.

WordPress runs the coach/author tier (Mel Robbins, Gabby Bernstein, Gilbert, Rachel Hollis, Danielle LaPorte, Byron Katie). Squarespace is the clean, design-led choice (Najwa Zebian, Nedra Tawwab, Yung Pueblo, Light Watkins, Deepak). Webflow is the premium-modern tier (Marie Forleo, Jay Shetty). Kajabi powers the course-led (Denise Duffield-Thomas). Next.js/custom is the funded/enterprise end (Calm, Oprah Daily, WE Council, Wanderlust). ANYWOMAN is on Wix — the lowest-trust signal in the set.

The cues — what they do to convert

Eleven persuasion patterns, with who does each best.
Life-stage entry points ★
the gap — almost nobody segments by life stage

The most powerful unused device: let a woman see her own symptoms and self-select — "Going through menopause / a divorce / starting again / a work crisis?" Most sites segment by goal ("grow your business"); almost none by life stage. For ANYWOMAN this is the single biggest differentiator — it gives a woman permission to begin because the site already named where she is.

Trust cues
Marie Forleo · Mel Robbins · Brené Brown

"As featured in" media strips, bestseller badges, credential rows, and testimonials with faces and outcomes. Authority is shown, not claimed.

Behavioural triggers
Marie Forleo (B-School) · Amy Porterfield

Cohort scarcity (doors open/close), waitlists, countdowns, and free quizzes/assessments as the funnel front door. Self-assessment converts because the result feels personal.

UX cues
Calm · Jay Shetty

One primary action per screen, sticky CTA, "Start here" segmentation, ruthless simplicity. The fewer the choices, the higher the conversion.

Design cues
Najwa Zebian · Nedra Tawwab · Yung Pueblo

Real founder photography (never stock), warm palettes, generous whitespace, big serif headlines. The Squarespace-tier look reads "premium and personal" — the opposite of ANYWOMAN's stock-and-Wix feel.

Direct-response language
Mel Robbins · Rachel Hollis

Problem → agitate → solve, relentless "you", specificity over adjectives, risk-reversal/guarantees, repeated CTAs. Copy that talks to one woman, not "women".

Storytelling / show-don't-tell
Glennon Doyle · Cheryl Strayed

The founder's origin scene carries the brand. ANYWOMAN has a stronger one than most — two suitcases, two kids — and currently hides it behind a hover.

Audio
near-universal — Robbins, Doyle, Forleo, Shetty

A podcast is the compounding engine almost every leader runs. ANYWOMAN has none — the biggest format gap in the audit.

Video
Marie Forleo · Jay Shetty · Gabby Bernstein

Hero video, founder-to-camera, video testimonials and masterclass replays. Face + voice builds trust faster than any copy.

Appeals to authority
Brené Brown (research) · Lori Gottlieb (clinical)

Credentials, research citations, clinical framing, media and book deals. ANYWOMAN's ICF/NLP creds and book are real and barely used.

Mobile comms
Kamalaya (chat) · Denise DT (ManyChat) · the UAE norm

Web chat is rare globally — but in the UAE, WhatsApp is how people actually buy. ANYWOMAN adding click-to-WhatsApp is a local advantage almost none of these have.

The ranked 20 — how ANYWOMAN punches above its weight

She can't outspend them. She can out-think them on the combination none of them have.
1
Life-stage entry points
"Where are you right now?" — menopause · divorce · starting again · a work crisis. Let her see her symptoms and give herself permission. Nobody in the 50 does this by life stage.
High · Easy
2
WhatsApp-first conversion
Click-to-chat on every page. The UAE's default buying channel; a local edge over global rivals.
High · Easy
3
Off Wix → a credible build
Squarespace, Webflow or the custom build we've prototyped. Instantly a tier above the Wix signal.
High · Med
4
The "Ask Fanika" AI assistant
Trained on her book & method. None of the 50 have this. An immediate leapfrog.
High · Med
5
A self-assessment quiz
"Have you lost yourself?" → personalised result → the right step. The highest-converting front door in the set.
High · Med
6
Email lead magnet + list
"Prioritise Yourself" guide / chapter one. Near-universal among the 50; absent here.
High · Easy
7
Founder-led photo & video
Her real face and the two-suitcases story to camera — not stock. The single biggest trust lift.
High · Med
8
A podcast (even short)
The compounding engine every leader runs and she lacks. Start with 10-minute solo episodes from the book.
High · Med
9
Multilingual (EN / Arabic / Serbian)
Almost none localise. In the Gulf it's a real moat — and her origin story.
High · Med
10
Emirati / Gulf cultural framing
Content that names family and societal expectations Gulf women live under. No global rival can speak to this credibly.
High · Med
11
"As featured in" trust strip
Belgrade radio, Mindbridge USA, the book. Borrowed credibility, instantly.
Med · Easy
12
Testimonials with faces + video
Move them onto the money pages; add one video. Proof beats claims.
Med · Easy
13
Cohort scarcity on the course
Doors open/close, a real start date. Forleo's whole engine.
Med · Easy
14
A community platform
Circle or Mighty Networks for the circles & library (Vienna Pharaon's model) — the "community centre", real.
Med · Med
15
Direct-response copy rewrite
Problem-agitate-solve, "you", specificity, one CTA. Already drafted in the Build Kit.
High · Easy
16
Sticky single CTA + clean UX
One action per screen, always WhatsApp. Calm-grade simplicity.
Med · Easy
17
Risk reversal / guarantee
"Come to one circle free." Removes the first-step fear.
Med · Easy
18
Retreat & event calendar with booking
Live dates, book in a tap. Turns "someday" into a sale.
Med · Med
19
The book as the spine
Authority + lead magnet + content engine in one. The book-led path →
High · Med
20
Research-backed authority
A "why women hold themselves back" foundation — thinkers, data, the cultural lens. Borrow Brené's credibility model.
High · Hard
The punch line: items 1, 4, 9 and 10 — life-stage entry points, an AI assistant, multilingual, and Gulf cultural framing — are things not one of the 50 does together. That combination, on a credible build, is how a Dubai coach with 268 followers out-positions brands with millions.
